Oracle
Oracle Corporation is the world's largest database vendor and its flagship product Oracle is the oldest SQL-based relational database.
Despite heavy competition from other vendors such as Microsoft and IBM, Oracle has maintained its lead in the enterprise database market. One reason for Oracle's success is its mature code base which has traditionally been available on a variety of platforms.
